In the wake of escalating mobile phones appetite globally, Philips, under its Xenium brand name has launched five new mobile phone models.
Packed with high-end features like 3-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel autofocus camera with flash feature, all these models are dual-SIM and are reported to have an impressively long battery life. As per company, buyers of these mobile phones will be able to enjoy a standby time of approximately 50 days and as much as 16 hours of talktime.
Xenium X806, the premier model of the series, comes with a 3-inch touch display with an expandable memory up to 8 GB. For people who love to click pics, it has a 5-megapixel snapper at the backside. Though a touch expensive at Rs. 8,280 but with 8 hours of talktime and 1 month of standby in offering, it surely is a reasonable deal for buyers.
Xenium X518 and Xenium X523 are other two models launched in the same series. Priced at Rs. 5, 976 and Rs. 4, 992 respectively, Xenium X518 is a touchscreen phone with a 2.8-inch display, 2-megapixel camera with flash and 16 GB expandable memory while Xenium X523 offers a 3.2-megapixel clicker with expandable memory upto 32 GB along with an amazing standby time of 50 days and 16 hours of talktime. Xenium X518 offers 40 days of standby time and 12 hours of talktime.
Meanwhile, three more bar phones namely Xenium X513, X116 and X121 too have been launched. Interested buyers will have to shell out Rs. 4, 776, Rs. 2, 760 and Rs. 1, 776 for them, respectively. All three models from Philips come with features like LED torch, camera and an impressive 60 days of standby time.
According to Mobile Indian, the company will also be launching a Android 2.3 and 3G smartphone in India by Diwali.The Android Gingerbread phone has been dubbed as X726 and will come equipped with dual SIM capabilities and a standby time of 40 days and talktime of 15 hours. The 3G phone aka X9320 will sport dual SIM's and camera and feature a 4.3 inch capacitive screen.
