Micromax A85: Rumor roundup

Micromax is all set to launch its third handset in the Andro series. Dubbed Micromax A85, the device is rumored to be equipped with dual-core processor and gesture control feature.

According to the leaked specs, Micromax A85, packs in tech specs like TFT capacitive touchscreen with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixel, Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Supporting the 3G- connectivity and Wi-Fi Internet as well the device is expected to cost approximately 20k.

The rumors around Micromax A85:

-Tegra2 processor: According to the TechproneMicromax A85 will be equipped with the 1Ghz NVIDIA Tegra2 Dual core processor.

-5-megapixel Camera: According to the speculated specs of fonearena, this handset will have 5-megapixel camera with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels.

-3.8-inch display: According to the Androidos.in the phone will have 3.8 inch display with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. 

Other rumors surrounding the  device includes a 512 MB RAM and a gesture control based user interface. According to other websites the handset will also support the 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi Internet.

Many website claims that this handset will have a long battery life, but the exact specs have not been revealed so far. The phone is expected to hit the markets soon. Hopefully more specs will be revealed when the official launch approaches.
