The Asus Transformer 2 is the upgraded version of its previous model Asus Transformer, which was well received in India after its launch. The first model is already equipped with high tech hardware such as the 1Ghz dual core NVDIA Tegra 2 processor. And it is one of the best Honeycomb tablets running in the market.

Build Quality: Company claims that the build of this tablet is really unique with the dimensions of 7x10x.5, which is really remarkable for a tablet of this size. The most striking feature of its make is its keyboard dock. It stores extra battery life, storage capacity, and a user-friendly keyboard for typing any sort of notes. 

Display of Asus Transformer 2: The display size of Asus Transformer 2 is 10.1-inches. Though its resolution is not known but it is speculated that it would not be less dense than the resolution of its previous model Asus Transformer i.e. 1200 x 800.

Hardware: The next generation Asus Transformer 2 will be powered with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Its code name is Kel-El that is the birth name of superman the comic character. It is reported that this processor will improve the efficiency of this device and makes it faster than its previous model.

Software: This tablet will be the first to use Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. So, the release of this tablet also depends on the release of Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It is rumored that this OS will be released in Quarter 4 of 2011. So, the tablet may also come along in Q4 of 2011.

The exact date of its launch is not yet disclosed. And the price of this tablet is speculated to be around Rs. 18k.
