After a long silence post the launch of its first Windows Phone Omnia 7, Samsung is now coming up with two new Windows Phone - Focus S and Focus Flash.
The Omnia 7 was Samsung’s first attempt using the Microsoft Operating system Windows 7. Thanks to the build quality of the handset and its brilliant display and hardware the device didn’t slouch in the market.
But with the launch of these two new handsets Samsung is ready to take another risk this time. The two devices come with Microsoft's tatest OS for mobiles Windows Phone Mango.
In these two handsets Focus S will be equipped with 1.4 Ghz single core processor, 4.3-inch super Amoled display, and two cameras 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. This handset has borrowed some more specs from Galaxy S2 handset.
In comparison to the Focus S, the Focus Flash doesn’t have that standard of tech specs. For instance, the device comes equipped with only 5-megapixel camera. Even the display size has been reduced down to 3.7-inch.
These handsets will be good in multitasking and they will have a wonderful slick interface. Windows Phone 7 Mango brings a lot more features to the users. The video below demonstrates some of its offerings:
The release date and the price of these handsets are not yet known. But it is expected that the Windows phone 7 Mango will be launched in the next couple of months.
