LG Launches Optimus Hub

As major communication devices manufacturing brands fight it out to establish themselves in rapidly growing tablet market, LG is busy strengthening its foothold in smartphone segment.

The latest from leading home appliances maker in the world is the smartphone named Optimus Hub. The model, already dubbed as successor to super successful Optimus One has made a solid start, thanks to multitude power-packed features this device is adorned with.

LG Optimus Hub functions on an 800 MHz CPU and is powered by Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread Operating System that allows for rich user experience where you can switch between different apps and pages with a flick of fingertip at lightning fast speed. Further, the 3.5-inch HVGA LCD display is another prominent highlight of it. However, according to reports published on GSMArena, the smartphone's CPU has an ARMv6 core processor that is unable to run ARMv7-needed apps like Adobe Flash Player, Firefox for Android etc. If that is true, then such deficiency could very well prove disastrous for LG Optimus Hub.

In addition to it, LG Optimus Hub comes with a 5 megapixel camera that can click crystal-clear pics on the move. The phone comes with embedded RAM of 512 MB. Further, the user gets connectivity features like GPS (Global Positioning System), Wi-Fi along with 3G with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity. For hassle-free transfer of media files and other stuff, LG Optimus Hub has been provided with Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi Direct.

On pricing front, further information is still awaited however, expectations are strong that LG will price the model on the lines of its previous offerings. This should be a good news for prospective buyers since LG is one of the few major brands across the world that is trying hard to provide its models to end customers inside affordable price range.
