Exclusive: John Abraham replies to text messages from fans every night

The chiseled body and the demi-god looks, we knew interviewing John Abraham wasn't an easy task. Why? Looks can kill and who wants a dead reporter on hand.

John Abraham is hot and his recently single status has made many girls across the country celebrate and bow their heads to the gods. Among the India's most desirable, John recently got himself a spot among the 'India's Sexiest Bachelor' (are we surprised!).

A brand ambassador for the Van Heusen's clubwear- VDot, John was  in the city recently to inaugurate Van Heusen's flagship store in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Know Your Mobile has a quick chat with the 38-year-old about his association with V.Dot, phones that he holds close, what will be his next pick- a smartphone or a tablet and his role in the upcoming film Force.

Contrary to popular belief, he is not a party guy, feels that technology makes you dependent, is totally anti-drugs and stays up at night replying to the texts ( hundreds of them) sent by his fans.



Know Your Mobile India: Which mobile phone are you presently using? 

John Abraham : I have a Blackberry Bold 3 and a Nokia E51

Know Your Mobile India: What are the features you like the most? What would you want to improve?

John Abraham : I like the BBM messenger in Blackberry and Nokia is a good functional phone where you can store 10,000 numbers. I would like phones to have a good battery life

Know Your Mobile India : You must be getting tons of fan messages. Do they hear back?

John Abraham : After my number was leaked, I get hundreds of texts from my fans (even more during the release of his films wishing him success). I reply back to 200-300 texts every night, I like to be to close and connect with my fans

Know Your Mobile India : What will be your next pick - smartphone or a tablet?

John Abraham : No smartphones phones or tablets, I don't want any till next year. Technology makes you very dependent

Know Your Mobile India : How will people reach you then?

John Abraham : I will contact them (smiles)

Know Your Mobile India: You look great in Force, your fans are in for treat. Tell us something about your role?

John Abraham : I play the role of ACP Yashvardhan who is narcotic bureau officer. I am totally anti-drugs and that's the message I want to give the young audience through the film - say no to drugs or watch out for me

Know Your Mobile India: Tell us about your association with V.Dot?

John Abraham : It's been one and half years with VDot. It is a brand I enjoy. We compliment each other and have got a unbeatable combination
