Spice launches MiTab: A smartphone, navigation and gaming device

We were surprised to see the Spice Mi-720 nomenclature replaced by MiTab. Well it could be that the Spice Mi-720 has been gripped with so many delays and rumors that the company decided to give it a fresh name. What is new though is its all in one tag. The tablet blends in a smartphone, navigation, and gaming device.

Sporting a 17.75 cm capacitive screen with 800 x 480 resolution, Spice MiTab promises a seamless navigation interface. The tablet supports 2-mega pixel camera at rear featuring digital zoom, scene mode, white balance and color effect and a VGA at the front. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MHz Turbo Processor, which makes multitasking and loading applications effortless. MiTab supports full HTML browsing, Adobe flash player and features 3G high-speed packet access (HSPA). The tab also enables you to keep a check on all accounts (POP3, IMAP 4 and MS Exchange) and remain connected all the time.

The tablet serves as a navigation device as well, thanks to the AGPS and GPS in the phone, which help perform functions, such as location tracking or turn-by-turn directions tracking. Talking about its functions as gaming device, MiTab packs Adreno 200 Graphics processor which enhances the gaming experience and prompts faster downloads.

MiTab has Wi-Fi embedded into it which means with one touch, you can activate the Wi-Fi. WI-Fi tethering enables users to connect their phone to MiTab allowing it to act like Router/modem for accessing Internet.
Other features include Voice Call, MS Office viewer, Install apps on SD card, expandable memory up to 32 GB.
