iPhone 5 may get delayed due to touch panel issue

According to recent rumours iPhone 5 may get delayed due to faulty touch panels made by Wintek. An online website digitimes has recently posted that due to defected panels of iPhone 5, it may get some more time to get released in the market.
The Apple iPhone 5 is likely to be released in October this year as per some supply chain makers, but after this rumour it may get postponed for some time.
Wintek has made these panels in question that are allegedly suffering from a "delayed bubble" issue. It came into light only later while being in the process of assembly. As, Wintek is providing around 20 to 25 per cent of the touch panels for the iPhone 5, the supply shortages shouldn't be so dramatic, however that will also depend on how the other suppliers are performing.
We still have to confirm that whether the new turn of events will affect the actual announcement of the next iPhone or not. Earlier, we heard that the company is going to reveal its next gen iPhone on October 4th, for which we have not yet received any confirmations.
We hope this is just a rumour, and Apple would soon release it most awaited smartphone iPhone 5, which has gripped the people globally.
