Deutsche Bank securities analyst Chris Whitmore has presented a rehashed research note dated June this year stating that Apple would launch two iPhones in September.

Whitmore further stated that the revamped iPhone 5 could be encased in an Aluminum unibody while the iPhone 4S would be looking similar to the current iPhone – the iPhone 4. The new pricing would also address those who use prepaid connections. Because of its low price tag, the iPhone 4S might even be offered free with a postpaid tariff plan in career-based countries like the U.S.

Whitmore also indicated that the iPhone 5 might feature a better camera along with an improved, bigger display.

The dual-release of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S could dramatically increase Apple’s presence in the phone market. According to Whitmore, it could even add up as much as 1 Billion prepaid consumers to Apple’s already expanding consumerbase.

Apple seems to have the rumor mill working overtime about the upcoming launch of its iPhone 5 and the suspected iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S is expected to be Apple’s first effort address the entry-level smartphone market.

The rumor has gained even more mileage after the leaked cases of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S surfaced online.

The iPhone 5, being Apple’s flagship handset is expected to have a high-end price, while the iPhone 4S is expected to hit the market with an affordable $349 price tag.

The iPhone 5 has been called one of the best Apple products till date as it stipulated Apple to the position of the top phone company in the world. An affordable iPhone could increase Apple’s popularity in yet untapped Asian markets like India.

Good news for us as in the coming months, we might be able to get our hands on an iPhone without opting for expensive plans from companies like Vodafone and Airtel.
