Even as Samsung grapples with the recent Galaxy Tab fiasco, the world's second leading handset maker has decided to put all that behind and move ahead.
For its joint Android event with Google, Samsung has decided on 11th Oct. The event, scheduled to happen in San Diego is one of the much-awaited event on the globe today.
Meanwhile, if the message printed in Samsung’s invitations is anything to go by, the occasion is of extreme significance for it since rumors are doing rounds that Samsung Nexus Prime will be unveiled here. What makes this event more interesting is the chances of catching the exclusive official look of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Unlike other unpacked events previously held by Samsung, this one has a 'Google' touch to it. Yes, the Korean company is not shying away from promoting it as a 'Google episode'. In fact, Samsung has gone ahead and put its logo next to its. This gives a clear impression that the event is equally important for Android as well.
In case, if you aren't the lucky ones to be invited, Samsung has arranged for a live streaming of event at Youtube.com/Android.
Clearly, Samsung is leaving no stones unturned to make it a popular event. Needless to say from Samsung's point of view, a lot relies on the success of this event which would also shape its future business strategies. Whatever be the case, the event is only two weeks away. So have patience and find out yourself.
Meanwhile a video of Ice Cream Sandwich running on Nexus S was spotted. However, questions over the authenticity of leak have kept the people world over interested.
