Samsung announces its Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet. The Android Honeycomb tablet will start rolling out in some countries by October end

Finally the wait is over for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus fans. The company has just announced its fourth Android Honeycomb powered tablet in line. JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business said, "Samsung pioneered the seven-inch tablet market with the launch of the GALAXY Tab, marking an innovation milestone in the mobile industry." He further added, "building on the success of the GALAXY Tab, we’re now delighted to introduce the GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus reloaded with enhanced portability, productivity and a richer multimedia experience."
So, what makes Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus special?
Weighing 345g, the tablet comes in the dimensions of 193.65 x 122.37 x 9.96 mm that makes it a highly portable device. The device sports a 7" PLS LCD with 1024X600 resolution and a 3- mega pixel autofocus and an LED flash rear camera and a 2 mega-pixel front camera.
Packing in a 1.2GHz dual core processor, Android Honeycomb and a whopping 4000 mAh battery life, the tablet also comes with a HSPA+ ( for up to 21Mbps downloads) connectivity allowing data transfer at up to twice the speed.
Preloaded with a Social Hub, Readers Hub and Music Hub services, the device puts fun and functionality together.
With the Social Hub users's contacts, calendar, email and instant messaging and social networking connections are aggregated together. The readers hub on the other hand provides you with all the e-reading content while the Music Hub puts 13 million songs at your fingertips.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will roll out to Indonesia and Austria from October end. The global launch will happen soon after and includes Southeast and Southwest Asian countries. The Indian consumers should get to taste the tablet by December. There is a chance that it might spill over to next year as well.
