The HTC Desire S gets Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0

HTC Desire S was first introduced at MWC in Barcelona in the month of February this year, which is the successor to popular HTC Desire. The handset was released with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread operating system.

According to pocketnow.com an over-the-air update is reportedly releasing, upgrading handset with the new Gingerbread 2.3.5 version.

Handsets reported to get the update reside in the U.K. and have related stock ROMs. The latest OS also comes along with the new HTC Sense to the smartphone, in its version 3.0 iteration. Like all the ROM updates are getting done over the air, this one is coming out in stages too.

The latest update also brings few new widgets comprising Clock, Weather and Photo grid widgets, new version of Android Market, Calendar app as well as new Live Wallpapers feature.

The HTC Desire S weighs 130 grams and prior to update runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The device comes with a beautiful 3.7-inch touchscreen display, powerful 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM and 1.1GB memory.

HTC Desire S is excellent in terms of usability, reliability and battery life. The HTC smartphone looks quite similar to its predecessor original Desire. The Desire S comes in the measurements of 115x59.8x11.63mm that makes it very handy. The mobile phone offers a big 4-inch display that provides an excellent and clear view.

Now, with the Android 2.3.5 update the Desire S will become more powerful. Indian users may also get this update soon.
