Leak: First screenshots of BBM for Android devices

First screenshots of BlackBerry messenger for Android are surfacing over the Internet, as per a news post on techradar. BBM is one of the most famous applications among teenagers these days, which is now coming for Android platform as well. It will for sure add value to already popular Android devices.

Prior to this, there were no much meat to the rumour that BBM to arrive on Android and iOS, but now it seems true. The recent screenshots have come from a RIM employee, who claims that the application for Android is in the final stages of testing.

The screenshots displays the BBM icon on an Android menu screen as well as a contact profile from the beta version of the BBM application. The icon appears a tad bit like squat to us, but this is not the final version of the software so there are possibilities that it would be just a placeholder for now.

The contact profile page is not actually a charmer, but it provides you with all the details you would expect. Messaging and contact book icons provided at the bottom and the contact's name, image, PIN and availability status shown.

We are not sure, but it is expected that there will be a threaded conversation style page also provided. It will presumably allow you to message your friends on BlackBerries as well as other BlackBerry messenger for Android users.

Lets just wait and watch, what actually comes up and how it performs.
