LG releases update for Optimus 3D
Published on Oct 4, 2011
The globally renowned Electronics and mobile phone manufacturer company, LG has started releasing a software update for its latest handset Optimus 3D smartphone, which will provide you with 2D to 3D conversion.
The latest software update dubbed as 'v10k' is now available for Optimus 3D LGP920 handsets. However, it is unfortunate that its not the Gingerbread update that everyone was expecting.
The update is currently available in Europe and soon to be released across the globe. It brings 2D to 3D conversion of games, as per Androidcentral.
As long as the app works on Open GL graphics it can be transformed into 3D by the Optimus 3D. If doesn't, then users can still try to force the conversion, however it might not give them pleasing results.
A few weeks back, we heard that the LG Optimus 3D would be able to do this, once it will get an update which has finally done now. Also, we were hearing that the company is planning to roll out an Android 2.3 Gingerbread update this month, which is still yet to release.
To update the LG Optimus 3D smartphone, users would require a cable and the LG update utility, as it is not yet available over the air.
LG Optimus 3D owners in India might be very exited about this update, but they have to wait for some more time, to get this update.
