Published on Oct 5, 2011
It is really unbelievable but it is the truth that last night at the end moment of the launch of fifth-generation iPhone, Apple's official site and other popular websites covering Apple iPhone launch crashed.
It may be because of the unexpected overflow of the visitors who were curious to know which handset is being launched - iPhone4S or iPhone5. When we clicked on the site it shows really amusing message: "Access Denied. You don't have permission to access 'http://www.apple.com/' on this server."
As per the report of the International Business Times, the Apple website remained down till 3:20 p.m. EDT. But at the eleventh hour in India it became really difficult to know that what was happening around the campus of Apple where they launched the iPhone 4S.
Apart from Apple's official websites there were also some other websites that encountered problem in loading. MacRumor, was running a countdown on their website and when the time had come to end the countdown to unveil what was happening at the Cupertino complex the pages didn't load.
However there were some of the websites like PC Magazine, which was really fast last night. It was one of the top websites, which posted the iPhone 4S launch news and other news from the event - uninterrupted.
