Samsung Electronics has announced that it is planning to file a preliminary petition in both Italy and France to ban the Apple iPhone 4S, as per a news post on Times of India.

According to the brand, the preliminary ban in both the countries allege two patent invasions related to wireless telecommunications technology, particularly Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) standards for 3G smartphones.
The imposed technology is vital to the reliable working of telecom networks and gadgets and as per Samsung. It accuses Apple's violation to be very serious due to which the iPhone 4S should be barred from sales.
A company's statement says, "Apple has continued to flagrantly violate our intellectual property rights and free ride on our technology. We believe it is now necessary to take legal action to protect our innovation."
The statement further states that the company will file preliminary injunctions in other nations as well, after further review.
