Xperia Neo V: All you need to know

The renowned mobile phone manufacturing brand, Sony Ericsson seems to be gearing up for the official announcement of Xperia neo V in India. The new handset will be the brand's first smartphone to offer the latest software, supporting the features such as 3D sweep panorama, Google Talk with video chat and better Facebook inside Xperia functionality.

The upcoming device is a successor of the original Xperia neo, release in the beginning of this year. Neo V is equipped with the latest Android update that is Gingerbread 2.3.4 version for smartphones. Besides, the smartphone also includes a reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine that makes it an excellent device. This new Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V will be launched in India in the 4th quarter of this year.

The smartphone looks similar to its predecessor the earlier released Xperia Neo, whereas the main difference between the two is camera capability. The latest version has a 5-megapixel camera; however the earlier version had an 8-megapixel camera.

The camera was one of the USP of the Neo, but Sony Ericssson has downgraded it in this model, by adding a 5-megapixel snapper. May be the reason behind it was cutting its price and making it affordable for the mid-range buyers.

The new Xperia Neo V will be featuring the latest Android 2.3.4 update that is completely 3D friendly. The device will also offer a good number of Facebook updates and will be capable to take screenshots.

The new Neo V has a strong 1GHZ Snapdragon processor, which gives it enough power to offer muti-tasking and faster working to the users. The Sony Ericsson smartphone comes equipped with a marvelous 3.7-inches big touchscreen that provide users with clear view on the vibrant colour display.

When it comes to power backup, then the mobile phone offers up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G and 6 hours 55 minutes on 2G networks. It embeds a 1GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM, which can be further enhanced up to 32 GB by adding an external MicroSD card.
