According to the available stats from Mobile Today, Microsoft will also pitch in with a $44 million offering out of which about two-thirds will go to Nokia and the rest to Samsung.

Microsoft seems to be going the whole nine yards in an effort to promote the Windows Phone 7.5 OS and it is aiming in the right direction as Windows Phone 7.5 is considered the only worthy competitor of the Android OS and iOS.

Microsoft's
new campaign would focus on its own family of products. It would showcase the Windows Phone 7.5 OS, which comes loaded with Xbox Kinect, MS Office, and is compatible with a range of devices.

The Microsoft campaign is expected to kick off at the pre-game of Sunday-night Football on NBC this week. Going ahead, the campaign may feature on lucrative ad spaces such as the Super Bowl.

Nokia, on the other hand is expected to concentrate more on the Social networking aspects of the Windows Phone along with apps and games.

Samsung’s advertising would concentrate more on the launch of its Omnia W phone in Europe.

India has already had a glance of its first Windows phones in the form of the Samsung Omnia W and HTC Radar. The Windows 7.5 OS seems to have debuted at the right time.

Currently, Android users are getting more and more impatient waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich and the just-released iOS 5, although seems good, but most of its 200+ new features would concentrate on iPad and iPhone 4S, leaving a wide gap for the Windows 7.5 OS to catch on.

Moreover, most of the world has worked on a Windows OS at least once in their life. This familiarity is one of the features of the Windows OS that can make it easy-to-use.
