It seems like the Apple-Samsung war may have been finally settled in a truce. A news report from Korean times indicates that Apple still sees Samsung as a critical business partner. Samsung might finally reopen its supply channels with Apple and might supply the quad-core A6 processor, which both the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 are, expected to run on.

In addition to that, the report also said that LG might be official supplier for the iPhone 5 screen.  It also further added that Samsung might set up a plant in Austin, Texas, where it would produce the A6 chip using 28-nanometer technology.

The Apple Samsung partnership always seemed one of the best business coalitions in the world. And post Steve Jobs, Apple needs to stabilize its supply chain to adhere to the needs of its consumers, while the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S might be still selling like hot cakes (Apple iPhone 4S sales have crossed the 4 million sales mark this weekend) a heat-up or lag in the supply chain could easily provide the consumer the chance to switch to Windows or Android.

Apple, its seems has finally realized that it needs a running supply chain to fulfill its demands and who better to do that than big brands such as LG and Samsung. While these brands might be Apple’s competitors in the open market, they never the less are names to reckon with industry supplies.

Apple was rumored to work with Quanta and Foxconn, but it seems those partnerships might have fizzled out as these manufacturers also supply to brands such as Motorola.

Both Apple and Samsung have currently refused to comment but Samsung’s CEO Choi Gee-sung is said to have commented that the legal issues between both the companies are being kept separate from their business relationship.
