Sony Ericsson Officially launched Xperia Pro and Neo V in India

The Japanese handset manufacturing company, Sony Ericsson has officially unveiled its two new smartphones, dubbed as Xperia Pro and Neo V. Both of these devices run Android Gingerbread OS and are powered by 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor.
Xperia Neo V is the downgrade version of Xperia Neo for those users who do not want to shell out a huge amount of money on a phone. While the other gizmo, Xperia Pro is the android running smartphone featuring a stylish side sliding Qwerty keyboard.
"With a price starting at Rs 9000, our multi-tasking smartphones are the most affordable and feature rich Android smartphones at 1 GHz," says P Balaji, managing director, Sony Ericsson India.
Both the devices Xperia Pro and Neo V comes preloaded with the newest Google's Android gingerbread 2.3.4 version OS. Also, features number of regular attributes of the latest Xperia phones, which commprises the Bravia engine, Facebook inside Xperia and most interesting the upgraded audio player with the Xloud. In addition, both the smartphones offers a dedicated graphics engine to enhance the fun factor.
These handsets sport a 3.7 inches touch screen that comes along with a reality display feature and also includes Sony Bravia Engine for excellent quality visuals.
The Xperia Neo V features a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and auto focus that makes it capable of capturing HD videos at 720p. The device comes with an internal memory of 1GB, which can be extended with the help of an external microSD card up to 32GB. It features a powerful battery of 1500 mAH battery that renders 7 hour talk time. The new Neo V is priced at Rs 18,000.
The Xperia Pro embeds a fantastic smooth slide out Qwerty keypad and also has a responsive LED back-lit capacitive touchscreen. The gizmo sports a capable 8-megapixel camera that allows HD quality video recording at 720p. While most of other features are quite similar to Neo V. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is priced at Rs. 24,000.
Most intrestingly, the company in collaboration with Bharti Airtel has announced 500MB / month of free 3G/2G data usage for the initial 3 months.
