BlackBerry users get free premium apps
Published on Oct 20, 2011
BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) announces a selection of premium apps, which actually costs more than US $100 for free of charge to its users.
The brand has done this to appreciate the BlackBerry users' patience during the recent service disruptions. These applications are now available to the BlackBerry owners on BlackBerry App World, which are available for free of cost until December 31, 2011.
“Our global network supports the communications needs of more than 70 million customers,” said RIM Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis. “We truly appreciate and value our relationship with our customers. We’ve worked hard to earn their trust over the past 12 years, and we’re committed to providing the high standard of reliability they expect, today and in the future.”
The complete collection of premium apps is available to download at BlackBerry App World over a period of four weeks that have started yesterday on 19th of October. Such collection over this period comprises the following (with more to come):
• Bubble Bash 2 - Gameloft
• Bejeweled - Electronic Arts
• Photo Editor Ultimate - Ice Cold Apps
• Texas Hold’em Poker 2 - Gameloft
• SIMS 3 - Electronic Arts
• N.O.V.A. - Gameloft
• Nobex Radio Premium - Nobex
• iSpeech Translator Pro - iSpeech.org
• Drive Safe.ly Enterprise - iSpeech.org
• DriveSafe.ly Pro - iSpeech.org
• Shazam Encore - Shazam
• Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant - Vlingo
This effort seems to be a nice step of the company to apologize and compensate its customers.
