Soon after releasing the Qwerty phone Optimus Pro, LG has now silently released another long awaited smartphone Optimus Net in India. The new device is again an Android handset, featuring the latest Gingerbread version.
The brand released this mobile phone silently in the country without making any official announcement. However, that's of-cours not a new thing, as most of the times LG India introduces its handsets this way only. The company seems to be busy selling their other products on this festive season, rather than focusing over their Android smartphones.
LG India official website already showcasing Optimus Net and the smartphone has started reaching retail stores. Moreover, you can also buy them from some of the online stores at best prices this Diwali. Being an entry-level smartphone, the LG mobile phone is priced at Rs. 9,999.
At the expenditure of almost 10K, you can pocket a device sporting 3.2-inches capacitive display, 800MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1500mAh battery. Also, some other useful features like 150MB of internal memory, which can be extended through microSD card slot and for connectivity WiFi as well as Bluetooth.
The device comes equipped with LG's own UI and it might also have pre-loaded with some of the common apps. At the time time of its announcement back in July, The company has suggested a dual-SIM model for Asia, though it seems the brand retracted from that idea due to which it is a single SIM handset.
Over all by looks the LG Optimus Net appears decent with a responsive touchscreen, which seems nice according to an entry-level phone. Besides, the device feels a tad bit plasticy but good considering its price.
