In its recent blog post BlackBerry has announced that the 2.1 (Beta) version of Twitter has been launched for the BlackBerry smartphones. The latest version of Twitter 2.1 is slightly different with its previous version 2.0.
The 2.1 version is a combination of two or more features, one is the Edit profile option and second is the Switch Accounts. Both these features give you access to your profile page. When you log in to your accounts two new icons will appear on the right side of your profile picture. These two icons were not there in the previous version 2.0.
How it works? With these two icons you can edit your profile and you can switch between other Twitter accounts in a hassle free way. The most interesting feature about the Multi-Account support is that now you can share the interesting Tweets with your other accounts. You can do cross-post Tweet and Retweet from one account to another.
This makes it easier to manage more than one Twitter account. This feature was not there in the previous version.
Now you need not to go to the menu option to change your profile settings. You can directly edit your profile by clicking on the Edit profile button. You can also upload new pictures, personal information in a much simple way.
To download this version visit: BlackBerry Beta Zone.
