Ever since Samsung’s IFA event, the Samsung Galaxy Note has creating a wave of anticipation for the handset. Called the world’s first tablet-smartphone hybrid, the phone is ready to be rolled out across the world, with the first devices being launched in Germany on November 2.
Samsung declared, at an event in London that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be available on November 1 for Germany, November 2 for UK and for the rest of the world within the coming month.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is one device we have been waiting for with baited breaths. It comes equipped with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor along with features such as its ‘S-pen’ stylus. But the rockstar here is the screen – a gargantuan 5.3-inch Super AMOLED beast giving the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it is considered the largest handset screen in the world.
Samsung has priced it at £594 in U.K (Around Rs.48, 000). So along with being the largest, it is also expected to be one of the most expensive commercially launched handsets till date.
Samsung, it seems has gone all out with this handset. Whether it be the drawing function for the screen or enhanced graphics, the handset doesn’t lag behind.
Google has also unveiled its Ice Cream Sandwich OS and the Samsung Galaxy Note is expected to come loaded with same, right out of the box.
The Galaxy Note is built to impress. As it requires such as humongous investment, we expect the phone to be worth all the moolah. Besides revolutionary aesthetics, the phone is almost the only one that comprises both a tablet and a smartphone.
