Samsung unleashed its highly anticipated tablet cum smartphone device in the Indian markets today. Dubbed Galaxy Note, the device sports a 5.3-inch HD super AMOLED display, 9.6mm thick body and weighs just 178g. This device is powered with 1.4 GHz processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It has a capacitive touchscreen but it is also equipped with stylus or Smart Pen. The Smart Pen is the key feature of this device. With the Smart Pen you can do sketching and writing. You can add text to the pictures and then you can save it and send it back.
If you want to download new apps on which you can work with this S-pen then you have ‘S Choice’ a new app store created by the Samsung. You can download lots of new apps that are particularly designed for the Galaxy Note S-pen feature.
Well, along with this it has dual cameras - a 8-megapixel with LED flash main camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It has the power to capture 1080p@ 30fps videos.
From portability, mobility and usability it is a perfect innovation of Samsung. It has the phone-calling feature just like Galaxy Tabs’ have.

Galaxy Note is also equipped with A-GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, Samsung TouchWiz, ChatOn and Social Hub features. It also supports HSPA @ 21Mbps, EDGE/GPRS, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Galaxy Note comes with 16GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD cards slot. It has standard Li-on 2,500mAh battery, which is chargeable with USB.
This tablet will be available in the retail stores very soon for Rs. 34,990.
