Published on Nov 4, 2011
After HTC's Chacha and Vodafone's 555 Blue, Motorola's Motokey Social joins the list of mobile phones dedicated specially to those who are always on Facebook.
We have been hearing about Motorola's Facebook phone plans since September. Earlier known as Motorola EX225, the device will be seen (soon) sporting a full qwerty, touchscreen and a dedicated Facebook button that provides direct access to your Facebook account with just one touch.
The other spec details which we have heard earlier includes a 2.4-inch touchscreen and a 3-mega pixel camera. A cross between the Motorola Droid Pro and Charm, the device is also expected to support 3G network, Wi-Fi and provide single or dual SIM models in different regions.
According to YS folks, the MotoKey Social will "runs off a proprietary platform" ( Moto says no to Android) and "while we’re thinking it’s not going to be as good as the HTC ChaCha, it seems that this’ll be a good phone for youngsters wanting in on the smartphone/feature phone craze."
There are no details regarding the pricing and launch date in India.
