Sony Ericsson is prepped to come up with its next flagship handset – the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD. Along with a full 1280 x 720 pixel screen, this handset is touted to support 1080p full HD video recording.

One of the interesting features of Arc HD, according to GSMarena is that the Arc HD would support full-resolution still shots while recording videos. This feature enables the user capture the most interesting video moments without interrupting the video itself.

Furthermore, it was also reported that the Arc HD would come with a specialized Xperia Arc HD chipset, which is described as ‘blazing fast’. We believe that this processor would at least be a 1.5 GHz dual-core one.

We would like to inform you that speculations are speculations unless proved otherwise.

But, one thing that let us believe that this rumor might be true is that the Christmas season is coming up and European and American markets are warming up to new phones. Also, there has been anticipation that Sony Ericsson has a dual-core smartphone under its wings. Another thing that got us in on this news is that the specs look quite similar to the Sony Ericsson Nozomi, which has been creating a buzz since August this year.

We also hope that it comes equipped with the latest version of Android – the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. In case it is, it might just be the first Ice Cream Sandwich Handset form Sony Ericsson.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD could be unveiled at the MWC 2012.

The Sony Ericsson Arc HD is expected to hit the market by the first quarter of 2012.We hope that it reaches Indian shores in the first quarter itself.
