HTC officially unveiled Rezound with Beats Audio

HTC officially announces its latest creation, HTC Rezound at an event organized by it in New York. The HTC smartphone that has already leaked quite a few times recently, sports Beats Audio and runs Android 2.3.4. However, the brand has promised to provide it an upgrade soon to Icecream Sandwich. At present it has been launched in US with Verizon, which will be the first ever US droid featuring Beats Audio and will also support LTE.

The HTC includes Sense 3.5 that works nicely on its 4.3-inch 1280x720 pixels touchscreen display. Also, it will be the first smartphone featuring a 720p screen to hit the market. The HTC smartphone will give competition to Galaxy Nexus and is the only device yet to boast a pixel density of 342 ppi.

Rezound embeds a strong 1.5GHz dual-core Scorpion processor and 1GB of RAM, which allows it faster and better multi-tasking. The mobile phone seems great at the performance point of view. The device also allows lots of storage space as it includes 16GB of internal memory and also allows comes packed with a 16GB micro SD card.

The HTC smartphone sports an 8-megapixel f/2.2 camera with dual LED flash, which is capable of shooting videos at 1080p. Naturally, there's Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi radios on tap as well. The HTC Rezound also equips Beats Audio sound enhancements, as well as the special tangle-free Beats Audio headphones, which allows you to experience music in a different way.

The HTC Rezound has been priced for the US market with Verizon for $299 (Rs. 14,690 approx.)on a two-year contract, which will hit the stores on November 14.
