RIM launches BBM music for BlackBerry

Research In Motion (RIM) has finally launched the long awaited music service BBM Music. BBM Music is actually an addition of one more service in the BlackBerry Messenger. Now along with chatting with your BBM friends and operating your e-mail accounts via BBM you can listen to the latest songs as well with the newly created catalogue of millions of songs.

A BBM user can access this catalogue by downloading the BBM music service. It is available for free trial for next 60 days on the BlackBerry website. The exciting thing about this service is that with the BBM you can share your choice of music with your friends. To download BBM music you need to have the BlackBerry ID.

You can download up to 50 songs in your music profile and you can change up to 25 songs every month. So, it is a kind of restriction to the music lovers, but yes it’s a great service for those who like to share the music. But before downloading the service it would be better if you check out that whether your carrier provider is providing you this service or not and whether your BlackBerry handset supports this service or not.
