LG and Prada have renewed their mobile-crafting vows with LG Prada K2. While Prada K2 maintains the same charm as its predecessors,  it will be the first in the Prada series to feature a Android operating system.

Prada K2 which belongs to the lineage of LG's first captive touchscreen device recently got a FCC approval. In the process the device revealed as well as confirmed some of the earlier speculated specs which were leaked in August this year.

Sporting a 2nd generation 4.3-inch NOVA display,  Prada K2 will be powered by a dual core processor. The device will also be seen sporting a 8-mega pixel rear facing camera and a 1.3- mega pixel front facing camera.

The most exciting feature of the handset is its ultra sleek looks. At just 8.8mm, LG Prada K2 even beats Apple’s iPhone 4S in thinness. According to the FCC filing the Prada K2 will be packed with a Prada-branded headset as well.

According to Wireless goodness, "Prada K2 has been approved for  dual-band Wireless-N WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM/EDGE bands 850 and 1900, as well as the 1900 WCDMA band."

There is no word on the pricing or launch, but all the fashionistas will be waiting for this stunning device with bated breathe.

In July this year, a roadmap of the upcoming LG devices were revealed. The document highlighted LG's focus on attractive display and brightness as well as Windows Phone 7 running phones.

Apart from Prada K2 some of the other LG phones in the pipeline include LG Fantasy, LG Victor, LG E2, LG K. Check out the complete list of upcoming LG phones.
