Apple brings out a software update for its newest smartphone OS, in a move to fix a few problems with the battery backup of the newly released iPhone 4S.
The latest software update, dubbed as iOS 5.0.1 also brings multi-tasking gestures to early models of the iPad and ensured more security that will allow the users to download lots of stuff to their devices without any tension.
Complaints about the battery backup of the iPhone 4S started popping up soon after the release that happened last month, which Apple accepted in a statement recently.
Xinhuanet reported that Apple engineers contacted few of the iPhone 4S users in Britain and installed a diagnosis file on their handsets to send details back to the brand's headquarter in Cupertino, California.
“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices,” Apple wrote. “We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life, and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”
It was the first software update that has been issued by Apple, which has pushed to users over the cellular networks, in-spite of sync up their gizmos with their laptops.
