Leak: specs for HTC Ville surfacing on Internet

HTC's latest creation, an upcoming Android smartphone HTC Ville's few specs have leaked on BGR. The unofficial mobile phone will be see announced next year at the Mobile World Congress together with the HTC Edge.

The new HTC Ville will be HTC's first to feature Android's latest release Ice Cream Sandwich OS. However, running Android 4.0 version software will not be the only unusual thing with this phone but, it will also feature the brand's own latest Sense UI 4.0.

In-fact the device would still have custom skins, which is one of the ways Android manufacturers differentiate themselves from one others.

Not only this, but the handset also comprises a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. It would have been great to find a HD display, though qHD is not bad even. As it comes sporting a Super AMOLED display, it is likely to have the dreaded PenTile matrix layout for the sub-pixel.

The HTC smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 (Krait) processor. Also, there is an efficient 8-megapixel rear camera with a back-illuminated sensor.

The HTC Ville comes with 1080p video recording, HSPA+ , Beats audio and a strong 1,650mAh battery. It seems it does not have NFC on-board, may be due to the metal body.
