iPhone 4S to hit Indian markets on Nov 25

Rumours were already around that Apple's latest smartphone, iPhone 4S will launch in India this month, which has now confirmed. Aircel has mentioned on its Facebook page that it is launching the awaited device on 25th of this month. While we have also heard that Airtel is also planning to launch the iPhone 4S on the same day.

Although, neither of the companies have so far revealed any information about the price for iPhone 4S in India, but we can take idea from its unlocked version's price in US, which is $649 (around Rs. 32,501) for the 16GB variant.

Looking at the case of iPhone 4, it is expected from both Aircel and Airtel that they will offer reverse subsidy for iPhone 4S, by providing discounted call and data plans.

Apple released its iPhone 4S on October 14 in the US market. The device resembles a lot with the iPhone 4 in overall design and screen size that is same 3.5-inches again. However, the device's hardware has significantly upgraded and become much powerful and the most interesting feature is Siri assistant.

Siri is the latest voice recognition software, which understands all of the voice commands and works fantastically. The feature allows you to do almost everything that starts from finding a near by ATM to sending an SMS. On top of this, it supports three most popular languages English, French and German.
