HTC seems to be leaking from every nook and corner. After the leak of HTC Edge, the latest handset to be leaked is the HTC Ville. The Ville will be seen at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and has already started making appearances on the net.

The Ville is supposed to be HTC’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It is also expected to run on the Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

According to BGR,  It is loaded with impressive specs such as a 1.5 GHz processor and an 8-megapixel camera. The Ville will come 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. Running on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, it offers HSP+ connectivity on the go.

An 8-megapixel camera at the back offers 1080p HD video recording. A powerful 1650 mAh battery would power the HTC Ville.

While HTC has equipped the handset with Beats Audio technology, an NFC chip might be a distant reality due to HTC’s metallic unibody design. According to speculations, the handset might not support a front facing camera for video chatting.

Keeping up with the recent range of thin handsets, such as the Motorola Droid Razr, the HTC Ville would measure just 8mm in thickness.

But, the most interesting feature of the handset would be that it would be the first HTC handset to support Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. HTC might even launch a revamped version of its Sense UI to go along with the handset.

The handset is expected to launch in mid-2012. It’s Indian launch date and price are yet unknown.

HTC Ville featured amongst a leaked list of 35 upcoming HTC devices. Other devices featured include the HTC Ruby (now called the Amaze 4G), HTC Holiday (now called the Vivid) and the HTC Vigor (now called the Rezound).

We hope the Ville hits Indian shores next year itself. India recently hosted the global launch of the HTC Explorer. As there are 35 devices to be launched, we hope to get a rendezvous with a few of them soon.
