Published on Nov 15, 2011
Huawei launches a latest smartphone sporting high-end features, dubbed as Honor. It is an Android smartphone that is likely to be under the budget. Earlier there were rumours that the Huawei Honor has a single-core processor. However, now the brand has made it clear putting on its Facebook page that it has a 1.4GHz single-core processor.
The smartphone offers 1GB of RAM and 4GB of user memory, which can be extended if required externally. The device offers a big 4-inch 16:9 FWVGA capacitive touch screen, for clear view. Thought the picture quality of the handset is not so attractive, but not bad as well, especially when it is a pocket friendly smartphone.
Honor comes embedded with an 8-megapixel camera, which allows you to shoot HD videos at 720p. Also the Huawei mobile phone sports a 2-megapixel front camera. The device equips HDR functionality built straight in. Not only this, but it has a strong 1900mAh battery providing long hours of backup.
When it comes to connectivity features, then the gizmo offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB, which allows excellent connectivity. The Honor runs latest Anrdoid version, Gingerbread 2.3.5.
The Honor has a classic black color according to the pictures and video posted on the Huawei's Facebook page. The company has not yet revealed its prices, but seems to be reasonably priced, looking at the other Huawei devices.
The mobile phone doesn't have a new kind of look but appears a lot like LG Optimus series touchscreen phones.
As it has launched globally, we can expect to see it in India soon as well.
