Remember Sony S tablet? Well the Android 3.2 powered tablet is now available on the Sony India site for Rs 29,990. The site showcases the 16 GB WiFi version of the tablet at the moment and is available across the country.

The portable tablet sports a 9.4 TruBlack touch-screen display with a resolution of 1280x768. Powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 1 GHz processor, the Sony S tablet differentiates itself from other fellow tablet on the design front. On a closer inspection the tablet reveals a unique wedge shaped design.

Talking about the design, Sony had earlier stated that the shape makes the tablet ideal for holding and using it for long periods of time. The Tablet comes equipped with dual cameras - a front facing 3-mega pixel camera and a rear facing 5-mega pixel camera.

Another unique feature of the tablet is that it doubles up as a universal remote controller i.e you can control your home devices with this tablet. We would love to try this out!

In addition the tablet allows streaming of media to DLNA-compatible devices like PCs and TVs. Pre-loaded with games for PlayStation Certified devices, Tablet S users also get access to Sony’s curiosity audio, video and e-book store and thousands of entertainment options.

The device also has some accessories like Bluetooth keyboard, cradle, USB adaptor,carry case and LCD screen protector to further enhance your experience.

It's sibling Sony S2 boasts of equally impressive specs. Packing in two foldable 5.5 inch screens with 1024 x 480 pixels resolution, S2 tablet
