After the release of the Ice Cream Sandwich OS enabled Galaxy Nexus, its seems Google might have an Ice Cream Sandwich OS enabled tablet under its wings.
The leaked image shows two devices – the Google Nexus alongside a tablet. We believe that the tablet looks quite similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab. One of the more suspected outcomes is that this might just be the Samsung Galaxy Tab running on Ice Cream Sandwich OS, or even a thinner, new Samsung Galaxy Tab.
A picture of the tablet running on Ice Cream Sandwich was also found on the Android market listing for Google Music.
While, as an operating system, the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, looks quite similar to Android 3.0, the tablet looks quite different from normal single-button Honeycomb OS tablets as it has three buttons on the left side.
The Google Nexus has got us excited about the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The icons seem better placed, the UI seems more homogenous and most of the operating system comes with many never-before features.
The most important feature, we would say is that the Ice Cream Sandwich OS can be run on both tablets and smartphones, unlike its predecessor – Android 3.0.
Google latest version of Android has got the world excited. It seems that the company is prepping the OS to work on a tablet. And who better than Google to release a tablet?
While the company missed the window on releasing the first Ice Cream Sandwich OS enabled phone under its own banner, it might be that Google is preparing for the first ICS tablet.
Google might finally cash its coupons from the Motorola buyout, and come out with an ICS tablet, powered by Motorola.
But until the news is confirmed, we would like to warn you that rumors are rumors unless proved otherwise.
