This year we saw the launch of some jaw dropping devices - Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Asus Transformer Prime, Apple iPhone 4S, Motorola Razr and more. Well it seems the goodies for this year is not over yet. One of the popular manufacturers LG has remained awfully quite so far, but all that is set to change.
The company recently sent invites for a exclusive launch event on December 1. The event is rumored to see the unveiling of LG Nitro HD.
According to Engadget, the LG Nitro HD is rumored to sport a 4.5 inch 720p display. The dual core Android Gingerbread powered device is expected to pack in 1GB of RAM and fast HSDPA+. A variant of Optimus LTE, Nitro HD is likely to sport some similar key elements as well.
The Optimus LTE was launched in Korea this October. Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor the device sports a 4.5’’ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720p, making it truly HD. Running on a 1830 mAh battery, the device houses an excellent 8-mega pixel rear facing camera, equipped with a LED flash and HD video at 1080p capabilities. There is also a front facing 1.3- mega pixel camera for video calling and an HD movie editor. The device comes with a 16GB microSD card, HDMI port, DLNA support and HSPA+ connectivity options.
There is little doubt that the device will create waves during the holiday season, spoiling the mobile users with more choices.
Meanwhile the company has been rolling out the much needed and "much delayed" updates for it LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus 3D in India.
