To keep the BlackBerry Bold brand alive, company has brought a new smartphone BlackBerry Bold 9790. It again powerful device fully featured with numerous exciting functionalities and a lighter design. The mobile phone comes embellished with a high-resolution and very responsive touch screen display. There is a highly tactile keyboard and an optical trackpad, still it has a narrow design, which makes the device more easier to carry.
The advanced new device runs the latest BlackBerry 7 OS, which is highly capable and brings a lot of new tweaks to the device. Equipped with a powerful 1 GHz processor, the Bold 9790 performs amazingly faster than many devices available in the market. It offers highly responsive touch-based navigation, multimedia, web browsing and document management.
When it comes to the storage, then the device offers a good 8GB of internal memory, which comes with an option to increase up to 32GB, if required. The 9790 embeds a built-in support for Augmented Reality and NFC that allows you to connect your device with other NFC enabled gizmos conveniently. Also, the Bold device sports a capable 5-megapixel camera that allows HD video recording as well as clicking clear images.
The device comes integrated with Augmented Reality, which let the users to use Wikitude application, for searching nearby BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) contacts in real-time, read reviews on the restaurants of their interests, or looking for anything related to their area of interest. In addition to this, the NFC feature also enables a lot of new and exciting functionalities, like the capability to pair accessories or read SmartPoster tags with just a single tap of the device.
