Cluzee is a voice activated assistant developed by Tronton for use on Android smartphones. It has been made available to users on Android Market and is slated to put Android phones on the same platform enjoyed by the iPhone 4S courtesy of Siri. Tronton has even uploaded a video showcasing the excellence of its creation online.
Cluzee has been described as ‘your intelligent personal assistant’. When a user asks Cluzee, “What does my schedule look like today?’’, the assistant answers with a list of everything the user has planned for the day. Another example of Cluzee’s excellence is showcased while a user is on the go. The assistant acts like a GPS of sorts, providing the quickest route to a destination by studying traffic data in the area which it accesses from the web.
Like Siri, Cluzee has the ability to read a users emails and text messages aloud. It converts spoken words to text and sends off messages and mails when commanded to do so as well. Cluzee has the ability to find points of interest like restaurants, hotels, flights, clubs and shopping deals based on a user’s preference too.
Though the scope of Cluzee’s functions is less than what Siri offers, it will only grow with time. In fact, Tronton has plans to launch a cloud-based version of the assistant in the future. Android users can download the assistant from Android Market as of now and experts who have tested it feel that it works quite well. Even if initial glitches in the system occur, Tronton should be quick to fix them. Android’s hopes are riding on Cluzee, after all.
