Leaked: Sony Ericsson Nozomi official snapshot

If the leaked picture of Sony Ericsson’s Nozomi is indeed real, smartphone enthusiasts are in for a wonderful surprise in 2012. Nozomi is expected to launch at the MWC in February.

Phonearena got their hands on the rendered image and even though the phones photograph is small and the specs are cut out, the white handset looks classy. 

From its picture, the Nozomi looks like a sleek, stylish handset with a remarkably thin body. Its good looks are not the only thing that set it apart from its peers. It is the first of Sony Ericsson’s models to come preinstalled with the ICS OS.

The word ‘dual’ can be seen next to the device in the leaked photo. This makes the phone the first multi-core handset from the house of Sony Ericsson. 

Nozomi is expected to sport a beautiful HD screen with a resolution of 720p. It will up the ante for its competitors with its 12MP camera as well. Under the camera section of the phone is the line ‘1920x1xxx’ in the online photo.

According to Phonearena, this most likely means that the phone’s camera is capable of capturing HD video with a resolution of 1080p. From the locked screen of the phone in the picture, it looks like the phone will feature a Timescape UI colour scheme as well.

Though it’s tough to confirm if this particular snap is legitimate, it does key in with other rumoured details about the Nozomi.

From the looks of it, Sony Ericsson is sure to give other market players some serious competition when it releases the next generation flagship Nozomi in February 2012.
