Senseg, the Tokyo firm was recently awarded Garter award for Cool Vendor 2011 and TIME magazine featured it in the top 50 innovations to the world. So, what has Senseg actually given us that it is receiving so much of appreciation? Senseg has invented a kind of haptic technology that lets user feel the texture of the surface. Kind of haptic because it differs in principle in use.

This technology is based on Columb’s force, the principle of attraction between electrical charges. The technology is named as Senseg Tixel™. The technology is such that it lets the user feel variety of sensations from textured surfaces to edges to vibrations and much more.
