Transparent, flexible AMOLED display demoed by Samsung

Samsung’s official demo of its new concept tablet proves that nothing is out of reach in the tech world. The video, found online on YouTube, shows off a tablet design with a completely flexible AMOLED display that is totally transparent as well. Apparently, users can use it just like a traditional tablet screen.  

According to Samsung, tablet enthusiasts can bend this new extraordinary screen any which way they please and fold it up too. In fact, users can see right through it as well. Of course, as with all tablet displays, this one can be used to watch videos, read books, surf the internet and click pictures. 

Though the video is not in English, it does go a long way in advertising Samsung’s latest innovation. The transparent AMOLED display is held in a users hand and the audience is made to see the world through the screen. Meanwhile, the users goes about his daily business, using the flexible screen to interact with people, pursue his hobbies and generally use the screen the way users use their tablets.

Samsung has been working on a transparent screen like this one for some time now. From this official demo it seems that the company is ready to bring the world something big next year. A totally transparent and flexible screen is the ultimate in tablet technology – for now – and is sure to create waves in the market when it is launched. 

Though Samsung hasn’t said anything about a launch yet, enthusiasts are hoping that they won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the unusual, totally transparent and completely flexible AMOLED display.
