Rumors about Apple’s latest developments can be traced to German site Macerkopf which claims that Apple is indeed getting ready to take the popular iPhone to the next level. According to Macerkopf’s sources, the company is testing a quad-core smartphone that promises features never see before.
Though a quad-core processor might not be developed enough as yet to power the iPhone 5, Apple might be testing the technology for its next big offering. Either ways, Apple loyalists will have a lot to look forward to in the future.
Apple is also reportedly testing various screen resolutions for its phone’s display, including those of 1280 x 720p and 1440 x 800p. This is good news for smartphone enthusiasts who have been waiting for Apple to come up a high resolution screen, especially since a few Android phones already sport a 720p display. The second option sounds a little unusual, but then again, with Apple, who knows? Anything is possible.
Whether these rumours hold true or not remains to be seen, but gizmo lovers are excited about any new developments that might be taking place in the house of Apple. Of course, rumours and talks of the next iDevices including the iPad 3 and the iPhone 5 are only going to pick up in the New Year, especially since Apple is expected to come out with bigger, better devices for its users in the near future.
Besides these new rumours, it is a known fact that Apple is constantly developing its Retina Display and various configurations in the CPUs of its next generation iDevices. Tech enthusiasts can rest assured that 2012 is going to be a leap year as far as Apple products are concerned. Apple TV, iPad 3 and iPhone 5, the world is waiting.
