Maxx launches MTP9 Focus projector phone

The key ingredient for sustaining competition in market today is either pricing or quality features. Considering both of them Maxx group has launched a handset that is filled with everything that you can ask for. 

The Maxx MTP9 Focus has 2.8-inch screen with 240x320 resolution. It is a complete TFT touch screen with three buttons on the bottom panel. These keys are for receiving call, rejecting call and directing back button. It has four active screens and widgets to make the experience easy and smooth. The phone includes an in-built projector which was earlier seen in Spice and Intex only.  MTP9 will accompany a stand for the use of projector in our daily lives.

MTP9 Focus comes with dual SIM support, which becomes another attraction point for the phone. The phone includes 1GB internal memory which is again impressive. When you buy the handset a 4GB memory card comes along with it but memory is expandable up to 16GB. 

Maxx MTP9 houses a 5-megapixel camera with a button dedicated especially for this. It also supports various audio formats like Mp3, WAV, AAC, AMR etc. With this it also gives its users options of enjoying some spontaneous beats with wireless FM radio. The cell phone also includes proprietary King Movie Player which reduces videos to 1/10th of its memory size without compromising quality of the video. 

Focus MTP9 is a Java enabled phone and runs Opera mini browser to enhance user experience. It also includes apps like Facebook, Twitter, Nimbuzz, Yahoo! Launcher and more.  

According to managing director of Maxx Group Ajay Aggarwal, "With the Maxx Focus MTP9, we are introducing new features that include the in-built projector and a touch screen."

For connectivity Maxx Focus comes with Bluetooth and USB options. The phone holds a Li-ion 1200mAh battery that is predicted to give about 4.5 hours of talk time and is priced at Rs. 6,999. However, it is packed with a 208MHz processor. This can play the role of a party popper as the  respone time will be sluggish.
