Beetel unveils 7-inch Beetel tablet, Magiq Glide powered by 1GHz processor and Android Froyo

Published on Dec 13, 2011

Beetel Magiq  and Beetel Magiq II are two very familiar names within the Indian tablet market.  Beetel Teletech a company of Bharti Enterprises has launched another tablet, Beetel Magiq Glide. Interestingly the new tablet is ready to hit the market soon following the launch of Beetel Magiq II.

Magiq Glide in terms of specs holds nothing new except screen. Predecessors of Magiq Glide house capacitive touch screen whereas the new tablet has resistive touch. The improvisation has also increased price of the tablet. Previous version of tablet was priced at Rs.9,700 whereas the new Magiq Glide is priced at Rs.11,999.

The technical specifications of the new Beetel Magiq Glide includes a 7-inch WVGA screen with resistive touch. It is power packed with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that is responsible for its speed. Google Android, Froyo is the integrated operating software that will help you getting the taste of tablet. Unfortunately the tablet didn’t improve itself on this front even, when Android has already launched Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC also upgraded its only tablet HTC Flyer to Honeycomb. This can prove dismal from the market perspective for the company.

The tablet supports a 2-megapixel rear and front camera like the previous ones. Internal memory stands at 8GB which can be expanded to 16 GB through microSD slot. The device includes 2200mAh battery and on the connectivity front it supports both 3G and Wi-Fi.
