HTC Wildfire S gets a 2.3.5 upgrade, disappointingly without the HTC Sense 3.0 UI
Published on Dec 14, 2011
HTC has been bringing lot of good news for its loyal fans. After the
HTC Incredible S, Desire HD and Wildfire S Android 2.3.5 update now we have the HTC Wildfire S getting the 2.3.5 treatment.
Released with Android 2.2, HTC Wildfire S's latest upgrade fixes the bugs related to unlocking and all call related problems. However the HTC Sense 3.0 will be missing in the device which packs in enhanced unlock display, newer widgets, and the ability to access settings control directly from the notification bar among others.
These updates were released over-the-air and in case you still have not got your phone update, just go to the settings and get teh update.
It is exciting to see that how even the recently launched devices or high-end devices are now receiving updates but HTC is looking after its mid-range device users as well. For now there is no more information about Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to HTC devices but it seems HTC ChaCha is next in line to receive the 2.3.5 update.
