Not much was known about the Nokia 803 till now, besides a few rumours here and there. A tipster recently got hold of the phone’s user manual and shared it with Pocketnow. Though not too many details have emerged from the manual, it does give the tech world an idea of what is to come from the house of Nokia in the future.

The leaked document that 91 mobile got its hands on shows off a few outlined pictures of the device. Some key functions of the phone are featured in the docket as well. Apparently, Nokia’s new Symbian Belle smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single core processor and offers 512MB of RAM.

A 3.5’’ WVGA ClearBlack display makes up the front of the device. For protection, it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass. A hump on the back of the phone suggests a rear-facing 12MP camera. This camera is believed by experts to be the successor to the N8’s camera. In fact, 803’s camera sensor will be bigger and the phone might feature optical zoom as well. As far as connectivity goes, the 803 will probably include an HDMI port and offer NFC support.

On the side of the handset are found the volume keys, screen lock key and camera key. The face of the phone holds three menu buttons below its display. At the back of the phone is a LED flash light and a button for speaker volume.

Other details about the phone are yet unknown, including its price and availability, but Nokia will probably announce them soon, since the handset’s user manual looks ready. If Nokia launches the phone next year, it will be back in the lime light, fighting for a spot against other key players all hoping to grab huge chunks of the smartphone market in 2012.
