Know Your Mobile brings you hands on preview of the latest Spice offering, Android 2.3 Spice Mi 350n

Spice Mi 350n brings the perfect mix of ingredients for those of you looking for some dual-SIM Android action.

Know Your Mobile gets up close and personal with the latest Android Gingerbread device on the block.

The dual SIM Spice Mi-350n comes equipped with a large 3.5-inch screen with 320x480 pixel resolution. It houses a TFT capacitive touch screen, which is quite smooth in use. Honestly, we didn’t expect this handset to be that good but it really was.

Unlike other smartphones, the Mi 350n has three buttons on the front panel. These three keys are Menu, Back and the Home key and make user experience smooth and hassle free.

The touch and feel of the phone is worth noting, but there's definitely still room for improvement. The handset's back panel is extremely attactive but it is quite a pain to remove.

The device includes a 650MHz processor with Adreno 200 as Graphic Unit processor. Rather disappointingly the Spice only has 188MB of onboard storage. Thankfully there's a microSD card slot, which means you can expand things up to 32GB.

It is a dual camera phone with 3-megapixel rear and VGA front camera. This means it is well set-up for video calling.

Surprisingly for a 3-megapixel camera it manages to give really fine quality pictures. It also includes a dedicated camera button on the right side.

Unfortunately we couldn’t test its sound quality but will do it soon in our Know Your Mobile Review section. The device also includes a 3.5mm jack port for the user to enjoy multimedia options.

Spice Mi-350

Not a bad choice for Android and Spice fans at Rs 7,700. However when you look at the competitors Samsung Galaxy Pop (Rs 7,715), Motorola Fire XT311 (Rs 8,999), Sony Ericsson Txt Pro  (Rs 7,200), Samsung Galaxy Y (Rs 7,349), LG Optimus Me P350 (Rs 7,499), there appears to be plenty of competition out there.
