Google is about to push Android 4.0 out to its Nexus S handset

Google has confirmed that the Nexus S will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich by Christmas.
The Samsung Google Nexus officially became the first device to feature Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) this year. But the Nexus S will be joining it very soon.
The update has been rolled out globally but CDMA users will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on Android 4.0.
The update for the other phones will also take a bit longer as well.
Who will get there first? HTC? Samsung? Sony Ericsson? Motorola? Who knows – but it's a race that consumers will no doubt be paying lots of attention to.
After upgrading to Android 4.0 it will give your hand candy a complete makeover. But if you simply can't wait for ICS then you can install it manually and reboot your phone.
But be warned: this can harm your device. And it also voids the warrenty.
Here's a recap of what all Samsung Galaxy Nexus S is all about:
Samsung Google Nexus S has a 4-inch screen with 480x800 pixel resolution. Equipped with a Super AMOLED capacitive touch type, the power packed smartphone houses a 1GHz Cortex A-8 processor. It also includes 512MB RAM and 16GB in built memory along with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera.
